We all need to go to Norway – i mean just watch this: Norway in 4K… I get it Norway. I get it and I need you in my life.

My 6 year old is currently obsessed with 4K videos on youtube. loves the India one. and i love that she loves this because i love this. would much rather her spend time watching these types of videos instead of videos of people opening toys or videos of people playing with toys they just opened or videos of games being played. those videos make me vomit and angry. but these videos… these videos are the most beautiful things in the videoverse so I thought I’d share with my millions of blogfriends. so you can love this too. as we do. and may your kids become obsessed with these videos instead of those videos. ameen.

Thank you husband for introducing us to these gorgeous videos. and I love that these videos open up my daughters eyes to the amazing world we live in. I hope she gets to visit these breathtaking places one day (especially Arendelle).

P.S… while watching the Norway video with my daughter i was overcome with all the feelings and exclaimed… “wow. this is what Allah does!”

THIS. IS. WHAT. HE. DOES. !!!

So I’m here world… to basically spread some much needed sunshine in your otherwise cloudy lives. (just kidding, i hope your lives aren’t cloudy). so let’s do this and talk about really important things. Things like how bad shoes suck and how shoe shopping gives you anxiety. and how crazy our kids are because come on… they’re nuts… or maybe we are? and how our world is ridiculously sad and depressing but also so pretty and filled with hope at the same time. and how awesome the people are. so many people are awesome. so many people suck. but sooooooo many more are awesome.

Be warned – capitalization is a challenge for me. Sometimes capitalization happens, most times it doesn’t. deal with it. it’s kind of like my thing. so are “…”s.

And also be warned – i haven’t figured out my blog theme, aside from it being written by me. is it a fashion blog? my face is fashion, so perhaps. maybe a food blog? obvi! a travel and leisure blog? probably not, but who knows? a friendships blog? most definitely. a picture blog? sometimes. A blog about motherhood and parenting? always. Entertainment and Pop Culture? #obsessed. Politics? sure. Religion? it’s in my blood. and on my head. my religion is on my head guys. but is it in my heart? is it in your heart? is it in anyones heart? one would hope so. or is it in our heads? or on our heads? in our souls? what exactly is a soul? is the voice in my head my soul talking to myself? we’ll discuss all this at some point. or maybe we won’t. life is a bunch of questions that we’re all striving to answer, but maybe the best answer is “what was the question again?” and round and round we go… ?

Eventually I think a theme will just happen and then that’s what it’ll be about. but for now let’s just assume it’s about everything and anything i want to write about. My public diary of sorts. That you’re all invited to read.
